michael_jacksonThe shocking announcement of Michael Jackson passing on stirred the world. It came as a shock and news of his death was on every tv station, radio station, website, blog…you name it. In addition, you could literally her his music everywhere that day. I was in Manhattan when the news broke and literally every street stand, bar, restaurant, and shop had Michael’s music blaring. What a music genius and icon this man was.

I thought that it would be a good idea, especially for newbies to the West Coast Swing world, to post some popular West Coast Swing songs by Michael Jackson. So, here you go. If you have any to add please add them in a comment below.

  1. P.Y.T. Pretty Young Thing
  2. Streetwalker
  3. Whatever Happens
  4. Remember the Time
  5. The Way You Make Me Feel
  6. You Rock My World

Again, if you have any great Michael Jackson West Coast Swing songs to add leave a reply below. It would be great to collaborate an all inclusive list.

I’d like to add Man In the Mirror to the list of Michael’s songs.

I forgot to add one of my all time favorites but it’s not easy to find. Ghost is the title of the song but I believe it is an import. I’m not exactly sure where to purchase this one. Anyone have any ideas?
